Head of Chembase Prof. Imran Razeek, Honorary professor of Education of The Thames International University is an old boy of Wesley College, followed his undergraduate studies at College of Chemical Sciences, Institute of Chemistry Ceylon. He was also awarded the Master of Education degree from the University of Kanpur and is currently reading for his PhD from Girne American University.
Professor Imran was awarded the honorary professorship from The Thames International University of Paris, France. He was also honored by the Asia Pacific Excellence Award in 2025 for his significant contribution made towards the advancement of the Nation & Society.
“I am passionate about what I do because as a student I remember sometimes, how difficult it was to grasp the subject. Based on my experiences I decided that it was almost my duty to come up with innovative and modern techniques of teaching chemistry… and I sincerely hope I have succeeded.”
